I'm a huge Harry Potter nerd so I decided to slab build a set of Harry Potter character mugs. The two trays are the front and back of Harry's Hogwarts acceptance letter. On the tray in the back of this picture, I carved the Hogwarts crest into the stamp. On the other tray, I copied the exact writing of the letter. I had trouble figuring out which characters not to include, and next thing I knew, I committed to making a dozen mugs! I didn't want to have a specific height or width for the cups and just let it happen on it's own. I did however, make the smallest one for Dobby, the widest one for Hagrid, and the tallest one for Dumbledore. On each of the mugs, I used letter stamps on the handle to spell out the character's first name. On the sides of the mugs not visible in this picture, I put a memorable quote for each character (I'll eventually get around to adding a picture of the quotes). On the sides that are visible in the picture, I put a silhouette of the character's patronus. Neville, Hagrid, and Dobby don't have a patronus, so for Neville, I put a beheaded snake, for Hagrid I put a silhouette of him and Fang, and for Dobby I put a silhouette of him.
